Smallest Town in the USA

Buford, WY was established in 1866, is the smallest town in the US, and has a population of one living on 10 acres of land.  The town consists of a post office, house, service station which sells Vietnamese coffee, and Ames Brothers monument.

The town is located along the I-80 interstate and benefits from regular tourist traffic who are making cross-country road trips.  The town has a Vietnamese owner, who opened up Phin Deli (coffee house-souvenir store).  The service station has public toilets and the facility is wonderful inside and out.  Buford is a quick stop along the interstate, but it’s well worth seeing what a one person town looks like.
