Cache La Poudre contains the only nationally designated “Wild and Scenic” river.  It is a hidden treasure, with majestic cliffs and intriguing rock formations.  For those who want to camp without serious back country commitment, the sites along the Cache La Poudre are the best highly accessible camping in the west.
