Walden is located under the shadow of Medicine Bow.  There isn’t much to the self-proclaimed “moose-watching capital of Colorado”; however, they do have scattered motels, restaurants and creaky old movie theater.  It’s the only incorporated town in Jackson County, and is a resupply point for outdoor enthusiasts.  And, we didn’t see any moose.
