Medicine Bow, WY

Medicine Bow was founded in 1868 and primarily utilized as a watering station along the Medicine Bow river.  It was often a regular gathering place for travelers, ranchers and contained the largest hotel between Denver and Salt Lake City.  Outside of the city, there is a dinosaur fossil cabin, which was built entirely of bones excavated from the nearby “dinosaur graveyard” of Como Bluff.
