Craig is a slow-paced town that offers tons of outdoor fun.  It is a little more than a pit stop on the way to and from Colorado’s northern corner, Steamboat Springs and Dinosaur National Monument.  The main drag is Yampa Avenue, where Museum of Northwest Colorado is located which contains one of the nation’s best collections of cowboy and gunfighter memorabilia.  Additionally, it has numerous taxidermy shops, big box stores and several grocers if you’re stocking up for a trip out west.
