The Discovery Museum is a great venue if you’re looking for a family day out. The exhibits provide a mix of science and history…and the best part, the kids get to learn while exploring as a majority of the exhibits are hands-on. For example, kids get an opportunity to play instruments, learn about the military settlement in Fort Collins, see live animals, and get in touch with their inner scientist. If you have toddlers, there is a “Tot Spot” which is extremely toddler-friendly and contains a train table, water zone, and giant crawl-through tree. Additionally, if you’re hungry, there is a cafe adjacent to the facility with reasonable prices.
