Yogoshiyama Park contains a cactus greenhouse that contains the most cactus gardens in Tohoku. There are approximately 3,000 types of succulents and 150 orchids that can be seen year-round. The park has a family atmosphere and you’ll probably spend about an hour walking around. There is a flower shop on-site, which you can purchase planting material and plants. The best time of the year to visit the park is during Golden Week during the spring cactus festival.
