The Botanic Garden was built to resemble London’s Crystal Palace, which contains an iron-and-glass greenhouse that provides a beautiful setting to view orchids, ferns and cactus. The garden has a children play area, which they can learn about a variety of plants and explore on the playground. Outside the garden, across the street, there is the Bartholdi Park, which showcases a beautiful garden containing benches, rocking chairs and table dots on the ground. In the center of the garden is a bronze-coated centerpiece, i.e. Fountain of Light and Water, created by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi, the creator of the Statue of Liberty.
